China Licensing Expo 2026

China Licensing Expo (CLE) is the largest and most effective licensing event in Asia, widely recognized as the most effective channel for understanding the licensing market, promoting brands and expanding the licensing business in China and Asia. For more than a decade CLE has witnessed the growth of China's licensing industry.

Dates: 21–23 October 2026. City: Shanghai. Venue: Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Dates are set by the organizer and can be revised, so check them against the official source before booking travel.

Sectors: Business & Finance, Retail & Trade. The organizer publishes the full list of halls and the exhibitor line-up closer to the dates.

Most stands work in Chinese and only some teams speak English. We arrange a Chinese interpreter in Shanghai: at the stands, in supplier negotiations and on factory visits.

Hotels near the venue sell out months ahead, so start planning well before 21–23 October 2026. Entry requires a visa: we explain the document requirements, and the Chinese consulate decides on issuance.
