The official consular fee depends on the visa category (L, M, Q, Z, X, G) and the number of entries — single, double or multiple.
Urgency
The consulate may charge an additional official fee for expedited review. Expediting is at the consulate's discretion.
Your trip costs
Travel, accommodation and insurance — depending on where you apply from (Ukraine or an EU country).
Official consular fees are set by the PRC embassy; they are the same for every applicant and are paid directly to the consulate. We do not influence these fees. If you would like assistance preparing your documents, its cost is agreed individually on request.
Per the official PRC Ministry of Foreign Affairs directive, applicants for single or double-entry Tourist (L) and Business (M) visas are exempt from fingerprint submission until December 31, 2026 — no separate biometrics visit is required for these categories. Applications for Ukrainian citizens are typically submitted via the consulate in Chișinău.
