Design Week Shanghai 2027

Design Week Shanghai offers more than 50 on-site conferences on topics ranging from real-estate planning and hotel management to lighting design and energy saving. As a national platform for the design community, more than 500 speakers from home and abroad have shared their views and ideas, attracting over 9,000 participants.

Dates: 30 March – 2 April 2027. City: Shanghai. Venue: Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. Dates are set by the organizer and can be revised, so check them against the official source before booking travel.

Sectors: Construction. The organizer publishes the full list of halls and the exhibitor line-up closer to the dates.

Most stands work in Chinese and only some teams speak English. We arrange a Chinese interpreter in Shanghai: at the stands, in supplier negotiations and on factory visits.

Hotels near the venue sell out months ahead, so start planning well before 30 March – 2 April 2027. Entry requires a visa: we explain the document requirements, and the Chinese consulate decides on issuance.
