About the Exhibition

As a major producer, trader, consumer and the world's largest exporter of footwear, China makes over 12 billion pairs of shoes a year — more than 80% of global output. The Shanghai International Shoe Expo is one of the world's four largest international footwear fairs and a leader of the shoe market in China and across Asia. Under the theme 'New shoes, new retail and new fashion,' it brings together domestic and international footwear brands, manufacturers, traders, suppliers of shoe materials and equipment, and professional buyers to advance China's footwear industry through new-product displays, order placement and high-level forums. Each year over 800 renowned manufacturers and traders from more than 20 countries take part across 1,500+ stands and 1,000+ brands on more than 30,000 sq m, drawing tens of thousands of professional buyers — retailers, department stores, specialty shops, wholesalers, e-commerce players and brand owners.
